More about us
The Climate Of Love Collective
The Climate Of Love Collective online arts platform hopes to:
- Promote and support courageous, personal, creative responses to climate change…
- Cutting through jargon and politics so more people can connect with this incredible situation…
- To provide support for the distress climate change provokes…
- Because it is our loss of connection that is at the root cause of all this and…
- However serious the problems we face, answers will only come from the creative source that connects us all.
The platform aims to help remind us of the power we all have to create in every action we take.
The Climate Of Love Album songs launched the collective. In January 2023 we launch the gallery – with our first submissions.
Revenue from the album is now funding the development of the platform – but we need more to improve functionality and administrate the gallery! – if you can help please donate.
Submissions
- We offer this platform to creative artists working in any medium – who have felt this unprecedented situation in their hearts and created from that space
- Max 3 works per artist
- Work does not have to be connected to your usual creative output
- Must be 100% original and personal
- Must not promote any specific group or possible ‘solutions’
HOW IT WORKS – DETAILS
- The platform is free to artists who are welcome to link to their other work – examples are in the gallery
- Copyright remains with the artists
- We ask artists promote the platform via their own networks
- If they make sales following interest from the platform artists are asked to contribute 10% of these to the ClimateOfLoveCollective – on an ‘honesty box’ basis
- We hope the platform functions as a source of creative works for people looking to promote climate change initiatives. If revenue to artists is generated in this way we also request a 10% contribution to the platform.

Where the river flows
With revenue above costs we will:
- Promote and fund the Climate of Love Collective including sponsoring new work
- Donate 20% to people working to address problems caused by climate change. This list is not exclusive and can change. Political parties are included because change must be immediate – but the message to them is we endorse only action towards radical change, not wider policy agendas. Music has the power to encourage even sceptics and minimisers to listen – they too need to make personal connections to the problem in their hearts.
The political parties are British so far – only because Jackson is, but if we can we will seek to influence others too.
The first 20% list includes
climateandeconomy.com, michaeldowd.org, Greenpeace, Le Ciel Foundation, Extinction Rebellion, The UK Labour Party, The UK Conservative Party, The UK Green Party, The Scottish National Party, Plaid Cymru, The Greta Thunberg Foundation, 350.org, World Wildlife Fund, Scientists’ Warning, The imaginal Collective, Friends of the Earth, Paul Beckwith.

Who we are
Jackson Damian is a song-writing Londoner living in a Spanish fishing village. He’s a nurse and a psychotherapist who also works on music, climate and social care projects, when he’s not riding his bike. He co-ordinates the Crazy Hearts and the online arts platform the Climate of Love Collective.
Jackson has been in ‘environmental’ groups for years so he knows, with many others, that nothing like enough has been done to confront the incredible problems we face, in spite of the hard work and bravery of activists and campaigners. He hopes music and art will help more people connect with this incredible situation.
